* All paper including
newspapers, supplements, phone books, magazines, catalogs, shredded paper,
and junk mail. If you can tear it, it’s paper.
* Corrugated cardboard, paperboard (cereal,
pizza boxes).
* Office paper.
* Envelopes, with or without windows. |
* FOOD DEBRIS MUST BE REMOVED
(Oil stains are OK).
* Place in paper bag.
* May be loose only if dropping off at
Recycling Center.
* Cardboard boxes may be left whole only if
dropping off at Recycling Center. Staples, tape may be left on.

* No plastic bags.
* No string.
* No cereal box liners.
* No paper towels, tissues, or napkins. |
GLASS CONTAINERS

* Unbroken clear, green, and brown bottles and
jars. |
* RINSE CLEAN!
* May mix with metal cans and plastic
containers. |
* No other glass items such as window glass,
dishes, glasses, Pyrex, ceramics, mirrors or light bulbs.
* No plastic bags |

METAL CONTAINERS |
* Deposit and non-deposit beverage cans.
* Metal food cans.
* Aerosol cans. |
* RINSE CLEAN!
* Labels may be left on.
* May mix with glass and plastic
containers. |
* No paint or motor oil cans.
* Place large scrap metal in scrap metal box.
* No clothes hangers
* No plastic bags. |
PLASTIC CONTAINERS

* All plastic containers labeled
with recycling numbers within a triangle except Styrofoam™.
* Soda bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles,
yogurt containers.

* RINSE CLEAN!
* May mix with metal cans and glass. |
* No plastics without the numbered recycling
symbol.
* No motor oil
containers.
* No plastic bags.
* No Styrofoam™
